The end of the voyage always leaves the bones a little broken, the mouth slightly bitter; the sea breeze can slowly burn the eyes.

But the job of the sailor is to understand life through the lives of others: without pity, without remorse, only with the voracity of one who still wants to be surprised.

Sometimes even... heartless.
